The Sheboygan Fit Body Boot Camp is a place that I have started to call my haven. Before joining the TT contest I thought I was focused. I thought I was doing things the right way. I thought I could reach my goals without changing my habits. I am not a huge fan of saying this phrase, however I am happy to say it today - I was wrong. I thought that if I ate right most of the time and allowed myself the 80/20 lifestyle that I could get fit. I was wrong. I also thought that I could continue a daily drinking regimen. I was wrong. I call SFBBC my haven because it has become the place I turn to when I am heading in the wrong direction. The staff is available when I need guidance, support, a cheerleader or even just a friend. It is special. It is my haven.

I was working out 3-4 times a week at Fit Body and I was proud of that. I was getting stronger, I was able to work harder at the various exercises and I was proud of that, too. But I knew that wasn't all I had. The biggest change for me was the first time I actually saw a bicep muscle. I am 39 years old and I have never had a bicep muscle that I could actually see! That catapulted me to the next level. I started going for the pull ups instead of the TRX rows, I started doing push-ups from my toes instead of my knees, and my intensity was so strong!

The best part about the TT workouts is that they allow you to grow and gain strength. There is always a way to improve how you are doing something, to challenge yourself to take it up a notch. That is so powerful! The confidence one gains when able to increase reps or do a completely new version of an exercise is impossible to measure. At least, to me it is.

The clarity and the new habits I have acquired since this TT challenge started have turned me into the person that I thought I was with my old habits. Now I know that living a lifestyle of watching my macros, not drinking except on special occasions, and pushing myself every workout are the real game changers. And the results are showing more and more every day. The focus level is off the charts! The intensity of the workouts never stops. It's a bring it on attitude that I have every time I walk in that door. I have a love and passion for this lifestyle.

The SFBBC workouts keep me motivated and strong and pushing for the next level. And I can't wait.
