After getting married, It was all home cook meals and dine out with my wife. Due to hectic work and school activities, workout is out of the list. In six months I ballooned: pants and jeans getting tighter and I felt sloppy. My colleagues noticed this and tried to cheer me up saying "It's OK, after all, you're about to become a dad, so getting big is normal." I just shook my head after that.
I tried P90x, Insanity and some other stuff on the TV, but they only lasted 3 days, it was too hard, too long for a newbie like me, in short I wasn't able to stick to it, so I quit and quit one DVD after the other.
The biggest change after using Turbulence Training? I was able to stick to it! Workout intensity and variety pumped me up, and now for extra challenge I look forward to every workout emailed, and do the workouts virtually anywhere, even at work!
I got hooked initially because of the 4 minute workouts, the circuits were short but intense, I now workout without worrying too much about equipments. I've found body weight exercises to be very fulfilling and enjoy the compound nature of the exercises.
I am extremely humbled by this journey. Though I don't feel like I did that much yet, I've come to realize I just got out of the way of my own body, I'm now aware what I put inside my body and that I don't need all those fancy equipment to be on tiptop shape. I have a long way to go to get ripped, but now I'm already enjoying the journey!
For the entire duration of the challenge, I used Turbulence Training Bodyweight Workout and the Free Daily Workouts.
