I came to the realization about three months ago that I was physically headed in the wrong direction. I have a very active five year old son, and it was getting harder and harder for me to keep up with him.

Every time we would play I would wake up the next morning with an aching back. At 42, I am an older father to a young son. I realized that by the time he is in his most active teen years, I would be in my mid-50's. If I didn't start to change now, I would regret it for the rest of my life.

I have sporadically worked out for many years. I would get motivated, run for a few weeks, maybe do some pushups and sit-ups, but would eventually quit. A couple months later I would repeat the cycle. Clearly I was getting nowhere, but I didn't know what else to do.

I had been taught my whole life that you had to get in the "cardio zone" to lose weight, but I hated running so much. How was I ever to lose weight and get in shape if I dreaded the long hours of running I knew that it took to lose that weight?

Along came Craig.

About this time I came across the Home Workout Revolution. I was a bit skeptical - how could you get in shape and lose weight in less than 20 minutes, 3 days a week?

After reading the description of the program, I took a chance.

I got started and was amazed how good I felt after the first workout, 20/10 Workout. The 12-minute Bodyweight Workout. It felt like every part of my body was exercised, I was breathing heavy, I was sweating and I felt great! I went to work that day with a higher energy level than I had in a long time. It was very motivating to feel that way after such a short, intense workout.

There are several things about the Home Workout Revolution that I love. First, I can do the entire workout in my home, in a space no larger than 8X8. Second, I need no extra, expensive equipment. Third, I get an energizing, motivating, feel good, results oriented workout in about 20 minutes or less.

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't experience it myself. Lastly, the part of this program I enjoy the most is the videos. I do my workouts with the videos every time. Between Craig, Brian, and Mikey, I feel like I have my own personal trainer, and friend, leading me through the workout. Not only do the videos keep me motivated, they keep me entertained.

Over the course of the last 12 weeks, I have not missed one workout. That is a record for me! I have been on several business trips, but was able to maintain my workouts because I could do them right in the hotel room. My life has changed because my workouts have become a part of my life a part I would not give up now.

I used to dread exercising. I would find reasons to justify not exercising. Home Workout Revolution has changed my view of fitness. I get up in the morning excited to do my workouts. I look forward to Mon-Wed-Fri, and am a bit let down on Tues and Thurs (although I have started walking on my off days, and that's pretty good too.) I feel so much better at work on my workout days and more energy, better focus, and just general well being.

I am a completely different person now. I feel good about myself, I physically feel better, and I can keep up with my son. I don't hurt the next day after playing with him. Watching my transformation has motivated my wife (who hates exercise) to start with the beginner program. She loves it too. The Home Workout Revolution has changed my life.

My results may not be the most dramatic visually yet. But mentally I am a changed person. I have the desire to continue on my transformation journey. I am excited to start my next 12-week program tomorrow - the 4 Minute Miracles.
