My name is Jason Jeffery and I started the 20th Turbulence Training 12-Week Transformation Contest on May 1, 2014. In the fall of 2013, I had started going to the gym. I was doing a lot of cardio and some weights. I was introduced to Turbulence Training shortly before Christmas and got a book on Turbulence Training at Christmas. I really liked the variety of the Turbulence Training and that workouts were quick.
Prior to starting Turbulence Training, I found that it was harder to convince myself to go to the gym. The quick workouts gave me no excuse of not having enough time. Prior to training, I was at my highest weight ever, had a lot of back and leg pain, sleep apnea, difficulty sleeping, and very little energy. I did the 2.0 workout, the TT700 workout, and the TT bodyweight 500 workout, as well as some turbulence workouts I found online.
I like the turbulence training because:
- The workouts are quick;
- There is a lot of variety in the workouts;
- The workouts are enjoyable; and
- You see results with these workouts.
The support of my family as well as the support and friendship of staff and members at my gym, Stretch Fitness, gave me the positive reinforcement that I needed to get through some of my workouts and to keep on track.
Since doing the Turbulence Training and the contest, I have lost 31.6 lbs and 40.5". I sleep better, my back and leg pain has greatly reduced, I have a lot more energy, and my clothes fit better or are too big! I feel so much better physically, as well as better about myself. I look forward to my workouts. People have commented that they can tell I have lost weight. With Turbulence Training, I have lost my belly.
Turbulence Training gave me the endurance I needed to do some classes at my gym which has lead to greater benefits. Turbulence Training has changed my way of life and my thinking about exercising and good health.
