My goal was not to lose weight. My goal was to increase muscle and drop body fat. I believe I lost 1 inch off my waist and I dropped 1% in body fat. But I put on 5 lbs muscle. And I stuck to 4 weeks of 3 different workouts which previously had been a challenge.
I imagine its not your typical transformation entry but if I did lose any more weight I would just be skinny fat Lol. The goal was a cover model body and increasing muscle.
Three months I ago, I entered the contest hoping to win and knowing diet would be the biggest factor. Well I can’t say for sure if I will win, nor can I say I conquered the diet battle. I still binge eat at times and still emotional eat. But what I can say is that in terms of workouts I have been the most consistent I have been in almost 8 years.
Prior to the contest I would always workout, I love working but I have random mind and would switch workouts every two weeks because it wasn’t working well or I got bored. I came to the realization that that it wasn’t my workouts but my diet.
I started off with TT Buff Guys Hot Gals, TT reformed meatheads and then a week of meatheads 5 and 3 weeks of Mass at Home. My main goal was to put on muscle and I am proud of myself that I stuck to the workouts for all 4 weeks and that I gained 5 lbs. I started the contest weighing 150 and now at the end I weigh 155. Now I don’t know if that’s all muscle but I do know in the gym I was starting DB bench at 45 lb DB for 6 reps and at the end I was lifting 65 lb DB for 6 reps.
Never in the last 10 years have I lifted as heavy. Even my legs got stronger, as I was able to deadlift approximately 165 lbs for 6 reps. Furthermore, I went from being able to do about 4 pull ups to 7 pull ups for all 3 sets. Since my gym lacked a squat rack and not all workouts had squats in it, I was able to lunge 45 lb for 8 reps.
So although my diet is still a work in progress I can definitely say Turbulence Training has helped me increase my strength. I love how I can get in the gym, get my workout done and get home all within hour and bit including the shower LOL. TT workouts are easy to follow and at my gym many of the members are impressed how I have my workout sheet tracking what I am doing. I hope to continue to build muscle lean and inspire others.
The last part I’d like to say is that through Craig’s workouts and his ETR business I am embarking on a new internet business starting soon and in the hockey world since I coach. All this has happened in the last 3 months where I have stuck to the consistency of working, loving the toughness of the workouts, increasing my strength and starting a new project of mine which will hopefully open more doors for me.
Thanks
