When I joined Ali Fox's 12 week challenge, it was to support my partner who had just had our third child and wanted to lose weight and get fit. I had a very physical job and didn't think that I would have the time or motivation to take it seriously but after the first couple of weeks I really noticed a change in my fitness and energy levels and thats when I decided I would give it my all.

I had always been pretty fit and healthy and weighed around 65kg for most of my adult life up until about 5 years ago when life started to get a lot busier. Fast food was convenient and easy and it soon became a daily habit to just drop in and grab some take away.

I didn't realise how much weight I had actually put on but before long it added up and I was weighing in at 93kg.

Working as a plumber, I was really struggling with just making it through the day so I decided it was time to change my life. My partner and I started eating healthy and exercising daily and I lost 12kg over a year, work was so much more enjoyable and easier. But when my partner fell pregnant with our third child, we both fell into old habits and I put all the weight i had lost back on and a little bit more! I was now weighing in at 96kg, the heaviest I had ever been.

Although I wanted to lose the weight again I was lacking the motivation to get back into it and when my partner told me about Ali Fox Transformations who ran TT style bootcamps and ran TT sessions at Fox Studio.

I was hesitant in going but she convinced me to try it with her so I decided to give it a go. I really enjoyed it and continued to go 1-2 times a week but with a physical job it was very exhausting to start with, but after just a couple of weeks I felt amazing. My energy was coming back, getting through the day was much easier and I found myself wanting to do more exercise.

I started doing the Buff dudes Hot chicks and Home Workout revolution workouts in the private Fox Studio and also 2-3 sessions a week with Ali Fox. With these workouts, my overall fitness was improving greatly and the difference i was noticing in my strength was amazing! Every session I could tell I was improving more and more and I was smashing my results in the fitness testing.

Looking back, going to that first session on that rainy Monday night was the best thing I have ever done. I have never enjoyed exercising and losing weight as much as I do now. Being part of such a supportive and motivating team and really enjoying the training workouts is the difference between short term weight loss and changing your life forever and this is definitely a forever change!
