Back on May 1st of this year I was 230lbs, I had a 38" waist and felt tired all of the time. I'd tried to lose/manage my weight for almost 10 years but hadn't had the success I wanted. As an ex runner I'd been doing Craig's favorite form of exercise - long periods of cardio ... Finally I discovered TT.
On May 1 I started the TT Beginner program, at week 5 I moved onto the Intermediate program and finally to the TT Original Workout. For the final week I didn't have access to a gym/equipment so I did the Bodyweight Big 10. That Bodyweight program may be the hardest workout I've done through this process!
Nutrition wise I used the 25 Tips for Fat loss and Healthy Eating and adjusted the amount and type of foods I ate to stay within the recommended limits. Learning that I could have cheat days was a huge boon and made sticking to the daily nutrition program significantly easier.
Having the goal weight and developing a weekly weight loss target helped me to stay on track, and to determine if I needed to change something if weight loss wasn't happening. I really only had one sticking point and counter-intuitively increasing my food consumption was the trigger to restarting the weight loss.
At the beginning of the program I set a target weight of 195lbs. Today I'm 192lbs, that's 38lbs lost in 12 weeks and 3lbs below my target. My waist is 34" and getting smaller. I've set a new target of 185lbs that I feel will be my bottom weight limit. Once I hit that I'll start looking at the Mass Accelerator programs to build more muscle and size.
At age 53 I'm lighter and fitter than I've been in over 10 years, (and probably longer). I see TT as integral part of my life going forward and look forward to continuing this healthy lifestyle. -Brian
